The pizzeria 'L Duc Do Ciat is located at  Bardonecchia in the characteristic hamlet of Melezet. The restaurant is full of atmosphere  with a dining room in stone, wood and a characteristic fireplace . 

With us it is  possible to enjoy excellent pizzas and other specialties made with high quality ingredients, including  farinata (also for celiacs) and Recco-type cheese focaccia.  We have a wide selection of excellent beer from various brands, and we recommend pairing it with one of the many pizzas on the menu. 

The staff and  the owners, Lorenzo and Veronique are at your disposal. We offer a fast and accurate service.

Our pizzas

We offer a wide choice of pizzas and porridge for those with celiac disease. You can order any type of pizza on our menu having the certainty of enjoying specialties prepared with first choice ingredients. The novelty is the Recco-type cheese focaccia, pizzata and the focaccia with pesto.

Il Pizzaolo Giovanni

A manual art made with lots of passion and creativity.

Giovanni, born in Turin, but of Neapolitan origin, puts his experience and knowledge of the culture of Neapolitan pizza, in all its forms, at your service.  

 

Giovanni is rich in experience and professionalism, having started from a very young age to learn the secrets in the city where pizza was born.

 

His pizza is long-leavened. To make it even more digestible, crunchy and light, it is left to rise naturally . 

The little ones are enchanted by its pizzas in the shape of a fish or a mouse.

Lorenzo's specialties

Chef Lorenzo, born in Genoa, brought to Bardonecchia  its Genoese origins  with all its flavors.

 

Lorenzo offers for you the cheese foccacia, the pizzata and the cheese focaccia with pesto. 

 

He awaits you with all these delights to satisfy your tastes.

Our specialties

Cheese Focaccia

The cheese focaccia is a Ligurian specialty and was born in Recco. 
Focaccia with cheese is delicious with a very thin, unleavened dough, based on water, oil and flour and a filling of fresh stracchino (cheese).

The Pizzata

The Pizzata is a tasty variant of the most famous cheese Focaccia, very fragrant and tasty . 

Tomato, anchovies, capers and oregano are added to the classic cheese focaccia.

Cheese Focaccia with Pesto

This novelty of our menu is already the favorite dish of our customers.

A variant of the classic recipe of cheese focaccia like in Recco with another Ligurian product of excellence: pesto.

 

The delicate flavor of the focaccia goes perfectly with the savory and fragrant flavor of the pesto.

Big Cheaf

Born in Genova, snowboard instructor and pharmacist, after a brief experience in France he decided to return to Bardonecchia, a second home for him, to unite his passions; the mountains and bread and pasta making.

Veronique

Little Cheaf

Veronique, a Belgian girl who loves Italy because things are done with love, especially in the kitchen.

After 20 years in Valthorens, France, she came to Bardonnechia with her daughter Luna.

Big Cheaf at home but little cheaf in the pizzeria, she prepares the best desserts for you.
